(Result) SSC CGL (Tier -2) 2017 Exam

1.The Staff Selection Commission had conducted Computer Based Examination for Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination – 2017 from 17.02.2018 to 22.02.2018 and re-examination at certain venues on 09.03.2018.
2. As per Notice of the Examination dated 16.05.2017, marks obtained by the candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II together are considered for deciding the eligibility of the candidates to appear in Tier-III. Based on the marks in Written Examination in Tier-I and Tier-II and as per cut-off fixed by the Commission, candidates qualifying for Tier-III are as per lists given below:-

List-1: Candidates qualified for appearing in CGLE 2017 (Tier-III) for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer:

* In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 479 OBC, 22 SC, 4 ST and 1 OH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standard. Such candidates have been shown in their respective categories.

List-2: Candidates qualified for appearing in CGLE 2017 (Tier-III) for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO):

* In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 1954 OBC, 663 SC, 396 ST, 88 OH and 38 HH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standard. Such candidates have been shown in their respective categories. No vacancies were reported for VH category.

List-3: Candidates qualified for appearing in CGLE 2017 (Tier-III) for posts other than Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer and Junior Statistical Officer:

* In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 7530 OBC, 1081 SC, 252 ST, 40 ExS, 29 OH, 4 HH and 18 VH candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standard. Such candidates have been shown in their respective categories.

Note I: After excluding common candidates, 47,003 candidates are qualifying for appearing in Tier-III.
Note II: Candidates qualifying in more than one list need to appear in Tier III Examination only once.

3. Candidate having Roll Number 2201281955 has been debarred from the Examinations of the Commission. Therefore his result has not been processed. Results of 5 (Five) candidates have been kept withheld who were
found involved in malpractices in the Examination. Details of Roll Nos. of these candidates are mentioned below:

4. Five (5) candidates have filed Court Cases and their results have also been kept withheld till the outcome of the cases. Details of Roll Nos. of all these candidates are mentioned below:
2201062554, 2201105924, 2201272135, 2201325697, 2402006180

5. The category of the candidates has been indicated along with their roll numbers. If any candidate finds a mismatch between his/her name, roll number and category, he/she must bring it to the notice of the respective Regional Office of the Commission immediately.
6. The Tier-III (Descriptive Examination) will be held on 08.07.2018. The schedule for Tier-III will be available on the websites of the concerned  Regional Offices.
7. Representations received from the candidates about the answer keys have been carefully examined and the answer keys have been modified  wherever necessary. The modified answer keys have been used for evaluation.
8. The above result is subject to the outcome of W.P. No. 27020/2017 filed by Shri Vatsalaya Malviya & Others in the Hon’ble High Court, Allahabad.
9. The result is available on SSC's Website: http://www.ssc.nic.in. Marks of the candidates will be placed on the website shortly.
