(Interview Schedule) SSC-WR: Recruitment to the post of Chargeman (II) AWS & Factory (Cat. No. WR-16A & 16B)

1. With reference to your application for the above mentioned recruitment, I am to inform you that you have been provisionally shortlisted for aforesaid post and the Commission has decided to call candidates as per details mention below:

a) for WR-16A: UR- 85% and above marks, OBC & SC-80% and above marks, ST- 70% and above marks in prescribed EQ.
b) for WR-16B: OBC-80% and above marks, SC-75% and above marks in prescribed EQ.

2. The Essential Qualification for the both aforesaid post is on or before 14.08.2014.

Bachelor of Science degree with Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics from a recognized University or Institution OR A Diploma in Engineering in the appropriate discipline viz Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Board.

3. Accordingly those who fulfills the aforesaid criteria have been advised to present for interview as per the following programme. The other terms and conditions must be followed by as per attached instructions:

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. Candidates are requested to bring this call letter (In original) along with the following documents in original and also the Xerox copies thereof, duly self attested, for verification and record respectively:-

(i) Matriculation certificate in support of date of birth (Note: School leaving certificate will not be accepted as date of birth proof)

(ii) Education certificate in support of educational qualification(s) i.e. Xth, XIIth and Provisional Degree/Degree of recognized boards/universities. All other certificates i.e. Master’s Degree/Diploma etc. in support of your technical/professional qualifications and subjects studied at various levels and mark sheets pertaining to all years of each course indicating the subjects studied in each your, as claimed in your application or the bio-data sheet. (Note: In case of CGPA/Grading system is applicable authentic formula for conversion from CGPA grade to Percentage may be made available). (Wherever applicable in EQ, Equivalency certificate from concerned University/Technical Board may be produced at the time of Interview failing which candidature may be cancelled)

(iii) In case candidate is appearing as Departmental Candidate against Departmental post, necessary certificate with reference to qualifying period of service from Departmental concerned may also be furnished.

(iv) Certificates/documents (issued by the Competent authorities and in the format as prescribed in the notice of examinations. Prescribed format can be download from the website of SSC(WR) i.e. www.sscwr.net or www.ssc.nic.in) in support of your claim of being SC/ST/OBC/EX-Serviceman/Physically Handicapped, failing which your candidature may be treated as cancelled.

(v) Complete Discharge Certificate in support of your claim of being an Exserviceman Category (if applicable)

(vi) Certificate from the Department (in case you are a Central Govt. Departmental Candidate) in support of your claim that you have completed 3 years regular service on the prescribed date and also the Departmental endorsement/certificate with particulars, duly verified by your office, in case age relaxation has been sought and claimed accordingly (Please note that you will not be eligible for being treated as a Departmental candidate if you have ceased to be in Government Service). Prescribed format can be download from the website of SSC(WR) i.e. www.sscwr.net or www.ssc.nic.in.

(vii) In case you are a disabled Defence/BSF personnel, necessary Disability Certificate from the Competent Authority.

(viii) Certificates in support of your claim regarding participation in extra-curricular activities (NCC, NSS, Scout, Blood donation etc)/games/sports etc.

(ix) FOR OBC CANDIDATES ONLY:

All OBC candidates are requested to produced their caste certificate as per Govt. of India prescribed format only, which is mandatory. It is therefore advise that OBC candidate may confirm their existing caste certificate whether it is Govt. of India prescribed format, if not, the Prescribed format can be download from the website of SSC(WR) i.e. www.sscwr.net or www.ssc.nic.in and submit the same at the time of interview. Candidates claiming OBC status may note that certificate on creamy layer status should have been obtained within three years before the closing date i.e. 14/08/2014. The Commission has decided to accept OBC certificate issued after 14/08/2014 but before the last date of interview i.e. 10/09/2015, as valid proof of belonging to OBC category.

(x) All candidates are requested to produced three Copies of Bio-Data compulsorily duly filled (the Prescribed format can be download from the website of SSC(WR) i.e. www.sscwr.net or www.ssc.nic.in) at the time of
interview alongwith recent Passport size photograph affixed and signed by you and produced the same at the time of verification on the Interview Date.

(xi) One passport size photograph.
