Procedures of Examination

Generally the selection of the candidates is based on the performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2 written examination. All the successful candidates in written examination has to undergo through Interview /Skill Test/Computer Proficiency document verification wherever applicable and the Descriptive/Online test. After completing the online process finally selected candidates shall be recommended for appointment for various category of post in various Department/Ministry.

The procedure of examination conducted by SSC is very different for same post like CPO (SI),CBI, Railways and etc.
