SSC: Junior Translator (CSOLS) Examination and JHT (in Subordinate Offices) Result 2010

The Staff Selection Commission conducted a competitive examination on 05.12.2010 for recruitment to the post of Junior Translators (CSOLS) in various Offices / Departments under the Department of Official Language and JHTs (in Subordinate Offices).

A total of 3538 candidates appeared for the written examination in Paper I. Out of this, 986 candidates were found eligible for evaluation of Paper II after applying cut off. After evaluating Paper II and applying further cut off on these candidates, 549 candidates were available for Interview/Personality Test.

Out of 549 candidates, who qualified for Interview/Personality Test, 319 candidates appeared for the interview, out of which 59 candidates have been rejected on account of various reasons. 21 candidates have not given any preference for the post and they have not been considered for any post. Thus, the total number of candidates available for allocation to the post of Jr. Translator and for the post of JHT in Subordinate Offices is 239. Allocation in the A- Jr. Translators ( under CSOL) and B – Jr. Translators/ JHTs in Subordinate Offices and other offices, has been made taking into consideration the candidate’s merit and their preference. Further allocation under B (i.e. States wise or cadre wise allocation) will be made in due course.
