Declaration of Result

Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in CAPFs, Assistant Sub-inspectors in CISF Examination, 2012 - Declaration of result of the candidates found to be called for Interview.

  1. The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Written Examination (Paper-II) of the qualified candidates in Paper-I of the above mentioned examination for Recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in CAPFs, Assistant Sub-inspectors in CISF on 29.07.2012 in different centres across the country.

  2. Out of 71,281 candidates found qualified in Paper-I, a total number of 56,509 candidates appeared in Paper-II and were called for PET & Medical Examination. As per the scheme of the examination Paper II is to be evaluated only in respect of candidates qualifying in PET/PST.

  3. The answer keys of the above examination was uploaded on the Commission on 03.08.2012 inviting representations from the candidates. Only one representation was received and this was examined by the Commission and the answer keys were suitably revised .

  4. Based on cut-off fixed by Commission in Written Part (Paper-I+Paper-II) in respect of the candidates found ‘FIT’ in Detailed Medical Examination, following are the details of candidates qualified for Interview:-

    * 91 OBC, 7 SC and 17 ST candidates are also additionally provisionally qualifying at UR cut-off.

    Note: Category status of the candidates has been taken from unverified data received from Regional Offices. PET and Medical Results have been received by the Commission except for the one PET/Medical Centre i.e. CISF Jaipur. Result in respect of this PET/Medical Centre will be declared subsequently.

  5. For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per policy of the Government, the category status is indicated against their roll numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified for the category mentioned against their roll numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/she may not be eligible to be called for Personality Test/Interview. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to immediately contact the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the categories against their Roll numbers. Similarly, in case of discrepancies between name and roll number of any candidate, it should be brought to the notice of the concerned regional office concerned immediately.

  6. Tentatively, the interview is expected to commence from 5th November, 2012. Qualified eligible candidates who do not receive call letters for the Personality Test/Interview by 31.10.2012 or unable to download from the website of the concerned region should brought immediately thereafter contact the concerned regional offices of the Commission.

  7. Any candidate desirous of making representation against the result due to change in category may represent on or before 20-10-2012 to the undersigned giving full facts and furnishing documentary evidence. Representations received after this date may not be entertained.
  8. The list of candidates qualified for interview is available on the Commissions’ website: http//ssc.nic.in, without prejudice to such action as the Commission may take against candidates prima-facie found to have indulged in malpractices as per post examination analysis carried out by the Commission. The marks of candidates will be placed on the website after review Medical Examination
