Rectt For The Post of Constable (GD) In CAPFs and Rifleman in Assam Rifles 2012 (Reserve List 2)

Final result of the above examination were declared on 1.10.2012 for female candidates and on 17.10.2012 for male candidates. In the Select List and Reserve List, the number of selected male candidates was 37,346 and 207, respectively and the number of selected female candidates was 1,349 and 17 respectively. Vacancies were filled State-wise in Select List and on All-India basis in the Reserve List.

In view of the fact that there are candidates who were not selected due to blank/invalid/limited options and at the same time some vacancies remained unfilled in their respective States/ Border Districts/ Naxal and Millitancy affected Districts, Commission has decided in consultation with MHA, to issue Reserve List II allocate Forces to such candidates as per their merit treating their candidature under default option i.e. “ABCDEF”.

While making allocation in Reserve List -2 (RL-2), following procedure has been adopted:-

• All the undiverted unfilled vacancies after declaration of Select List and Reserve List were considered.

• Candidates who were not selected due to Blank/invalid/ limited options were considered for allocation in RL-2 after substituting their preference as ABCDEF i.e. the default preference order in the Notice.
