Goa Shipyard Limited, a Public Sector Company under the Ministry of Defense, is presently engaged in the activities of designing and building special purpose modern sophisticated ships for the Navy , Coast Guard, Commercial and Export segment. The Company is looking for the following personnel.

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

Office Assistant

Total Posts: 06

Pay Scale: Basic 6200/- per month during the first year and 6390/- per month during the second year in the pay scale of 6200-3%-20270 (M-3)

Age Limit:  28 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualification: Graduate from a recognized university with lower typing certificate ( 30 w.p.m.) and

Experience: One year certificate in computer applications and should have 01 year of experience.

Stenotypist

Total Posts: 01

Pay Scale: Basic 6400/- per month during the first year and 6590/- per month during the second year in the pay scale of 6400 -3%- 20910 (M-4)

Age Limit:  28 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualification:

• Graduate in any faculty with shorthand speed of 80/100 w.p.m. and typewriting speed of 30 w.p.m. plus one year certificate course in computer applications and one year experience in line is essential.
• Knowledge of Hindi shorthand / typewriting is desirable.

Experience: One year certificate course in computer applications and one year experience in line is essential.

Welder Cutter

Total Posts: 15

Pay Scale: Basic 6000/- per month during the first year and 6180/- per month during the second year in the pay scale of 6000-3%-16950 (W-3)

Age Limit:  28 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualification: ITI in trade of Welder (G&E) with 02 years of experience in line of Welder/Welder-Cutter or NAC (NCTVT) in the trade of Welder (G&E) with 02 years of experience in line of Welder/Welder-Cutter.

Experience: Two years of experience in line of Welder/Welder-Cutter.

Structural Fitter

Total Posts: 15

Pay Scale: Basic 6000/- per month during the first year and 6180/- per month during the second year in the pay scale of 6000-3%-16950 (W-3)

Age Limit:  28 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualification: ITI in trade of fitter with 02 years of experience in line of Structural Fitter or NAC  (NCTVT) in the trade of Fitter.

Experience: Two years of experience in line of Structural Fitter.

Electrical Mechanic

Total Posts: 15

Pay Scale: Basic 6000/- per month during the first year and 6180/- per month during the second year in the pay scale of 6000-3%-16950 (W-3)

Age Limit:  28 years as on 31.03.2011

Qualification: ITI in trade of Electrical Mechanic/ Electrician with 02 years of experience in line of  Electrical Mechanic or NAC (NCTVT) in the trade of Electrical Mechanic/

Experience: Two years of experience in line of Electrical Mechanic.
