Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has issued notification against recruitment of 889 Graduate Trainee Vacancies as Class I executive (E-1) in various disciplines. Eligible candidates may apply through online mode on or before 26-08-2012. Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be below 30 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 26-08-2012. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must possess PG Degree/Bachelor’s Degree/MBA/Engineering Degree/MBBS in relevant discipline/branch. Candidates may refer to the notification for further details.
Application Fee Details:
General and OBC candidates need to pay Rs. 500/- and SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- towards Registration Fee. Fee must be paid in form of Challan at any branch of SBI in ONGC Account No. 30827318409 of SBI, Tel Bhavan, Dehradun.
Selection Process:
- Eligible candidates will be required to appear for Written test (Objective type) comprising of three section-General Awareness, Concerned subject and an Aptitude test (Comprising of reading Comprehension, Verbal/ Non-verbal Reasoning, Numerical Ability/ Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation etc) for a total duration of 03 hours.
- The Candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for psychometric test and interview as per merit and criteria decided by the Management. In order to be selected, candidates, in addition to fulfilling the requisite criteria, are required to qualify in the written test and thereafter again in the interview separately.
- The written test is tentatively scheduled on 07.10.2012.
- Screening and Selection will be based on the details provided by the candidate; hence it is necessary that applicants should furnish only accurate, full and correct information. Furnishing of wrong/false information will be a disqualification and ONGC will not be responsible for any consequence of furnishing of such wrong/false information.
- ONGC departmental candidates must ensure filling their own CPF Number of ONGC in the appropriate field in the online form. failing which they shall not repeat, Shall not be screened/ considered as departmental candidates form ONGC.
- Candidates short listed for interview will be required to upload his/her scanned documents of qualifying degree on the online application website by a cutoff date (to be informed later) before interview. failing which the candidate may not be interviewed.
How to Apply:
Candidates need to apply only through Online mode from 04-08-2012 to 26-08-2012. Candidates should take print out of Registration Slip after submission of Online Application, for further use.
Instructions for Online Application:
1. Log on to www.ongcindia.com to start the Application process and select the
Recruitment link.
2. Select Click to Download Challan Slips link, take print out and make payment
at SBI as per details.
3. Revisit the ONGC’s website and select Click to Apply Online link.
4. Fill all marked details carefully and check once for errors.
5. Upload previously scanned photograph, signature and payment receipt at places
provided and submit the application.
6. Take print out of system generated Registration Slip and retain it for
further use.
