Applications from Indian nationals (male and female) are invited from the desirous & eligible applicants to fill-up the following vacancies to the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (Civilian) Group 'C', Non-gazetted, Non-Ministerial in various trades in Delhi Police in accordance with MTS Recruitment Rules 2017 notified vide GNCT of Delhi's Notification No. F.16/1/2016/ HP-I/Est-L/6796-6798, dated 21.03.2017:-

Education Qualification:
Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent or IT1 in the trade from any government recognized institution /board.
Note:- Candidates who have not acquired the educational qualification at the time of filling of application form will not be eligible and need not apply.
MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR ALL POSTS EXCEPT POSTS RESERVED FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PwD)
(a) Better eye 6/6 without glasses, worse eye 6/36 corrected with glasses to 6/9 or 6/12.
(b) The candidate should be of sound health, free from disease, defect or deformity.
PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL STANDARDS FOR POSTS MEANT FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PwD)
(A) DEFINITION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES: The candidates having 40% and above disabilities will be eligible for the posts. The posts of Cook and Safai Karamchari have been identified for Orthopedic Disabilities, posts of Dhobi and Barbar have been identified for Orthopedic Disabilities and Hearing Impairment and post of Water Carrier has been identified for Hearing Impairment.

18 to 27 years as on 16.01.2018 i.e. those born not earlier than 17.01.1991 and not later than 16.01.2000 will be eligible

Mode of Selection :
(i) After the Written Test (100 marks) and Trade Test (Qualifying nature), the final merit list for selection will be drawn for each category of posts on the basis of marks obtained in Written Test by candidates and who also qualify the trade test. The candidates upto the number of vacancies available shall be selected taking into consideration options/preference(s) exercised by the candidates while applying for the post. The order of options/preference(s) exercised by the candidates at the time of applying for the posts will not be allowed to change at any stage.
(ii) Where a cut-off has to be made in the merit list and dispute arises between two or more candidates who have equal marks in the order of merit, the selection shall be made as per the date of birth. The older candidate shall be given preference and in case the date of birth is also the same, then the higher marks secured in the Trade Test would decide the merit. In case marks of written test and trade test are also same, then the alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates appears will decide the merit.
(iii) SC, ST, OBC candidates, who are selected on their own merit without relaxed standards, along with candidates belonging to other communities, will not be adjusted against the reserved share of vacancies. Such SC, ST, OBC candidates will be accommodated against the general/unreserved vacancies as per their position in the overall Merit List. The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the eligible SCs, STs, OBCs candidates which will thus comprise of SC, ST, OBC candidates who are lower in merit than the last general candidate on merit list of unreserved category but otherwise found suitable for appointment even by relaxed standard.
(iv) The candidates so selected provisionally shall be medically examined by doctors in selected government hospitals in Delhi before appointment as per the prescribed

The mode of filling up of online application form is available in the websites of Delhi Police i.e. www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in and www.delhipolice.nic.in.
Preference: Candidates will be required to indicate in the online application form for the Examination, the order of preference for the posts.
Candidates seeking reservation benefits as SC/ST/OBC/Ex-SM and applying for the posts identified for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must ensure that they fulfill requisite eligibility criteria as per eligibility prescribed in the Notice. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the format prescribed by Government of India in support of their claim when the copies of the certificates will be sought at the time of Trade Test. OBC candidates should ensure that they are in possession of OBC certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority prescribed in this Notice.
THE CANDIDATES REPORTING WITHOUT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED TO UNDERTAKE FURTHER EXAMINATION.
Fee Payment :
Application Fee:- Male candidates belonging to General (UR)/OBC category applying for recruitment to the posts should pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) as application fee through online payment gateway system on www.delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in and www.delhipolice.nic.in. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from paying application fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances and the fee paid by modes other than above will not be accepted and applications of such candidates will be rejected forthright and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
