1. The Staff Selection Commission conducted a Written Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF on 22.06.2014 (Paper-I) and Paper-II on 28.09.2014. Result of Paper-I & Paper-II was declared on 28.08.2014 & 09.01.2015 respectively. All candidates who qualified in PST/ PET and who were found FIT in Medical / Review Medical Examination, qualified for Interview, without any cut-off marks in Paper I +Paper II.

2. Based on the merit-cum-preference, candidates have been finally selected and allocated to the following posts that were advertised:-

A- Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
B- Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
C- Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)
D- Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF)
E- Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF)
F- Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBPF)
G- Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)

Explanation of Preference codes : A-SI in DELHI POLICE, B-SI in BSF, C-SI in CISF, D-ASI in CISF, E-SI in CRPF, F-SI in ITBP, G-SI in SSB.

In Delhi Police (Preference A) reservation is available for Ex-Servicemen and special categories of Ex-Servicemen. Out of 10% quota meant for Ex-Servicemen, 50% of such quota is reserved for the following categories:-

(i) Having served in the Special Force NSG (Special Action Group)
(ii) Having received a QI ”Qualified Instructors” grading in the Commando Course. (iii) Officers from the Navy/Air Force who have worked in the specialized Commando type units.

3. RESOLUTION OF TIE CASES

In case where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregates marks, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another:-

i) Total marks in written examination.
ii) Marks in Paper-II
iii) Marks in Paper-I
iv) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
v) Alphabetical order of the first names of the candidates.
