Declaration of result of the candidates qualified for PET/Medical Examination -reg.

The Staff Selection Commission conducted an open competitive examination on 28.08.2011 all over India, for recruitment of Sub Inspectors in CPOs, Assistant Sub Inspectors in Central Industrial Security Force(CISF) & Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB).

A total of 1,69,747 candidates appeared for examination. Out of this 8,387 candidates were awarded ‘ZERO’ marks due to incorrect entries / codes of name, roll number etc..

Candidates who have left the Category column blank or multiple entries have been found in their respective OMR sheets, have been treated as General Category candidates. Candidates who have left the sex code blank or multiple entries found against sex code, are treated as male candidates.

Among the candidates who have opted for SI / ASI posts, keeping in view of the cut-off fixed in Paper-I by the Commission, 29,542 candidates (28,062 male and 1,480 female) are qualified for PET/Medical Examination.

The category status in respect of the candidates belonging to reserve categories has been indicated along with their roll numbers. It is important for such candidates to note that they have been declared qualified only for the category mentioned against their Roll Numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his Roll Number or his roll number and name do not match, he may not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to immediately contact the respective Regional Offices of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll Numbers.

The result of this examination is also available on SSC's Website: http://ssc.nic.in. The Commission will be placing marks of the candidates, the details entered by them in the first page of OMR Answer Sheet, the responses marked by them against the question in the second page of OMR Answer Sheet and correct keys of different Test Form Nos. used by the Commission in Paper-I in due course. The list of the candidates awarded ‘ZERO’ marks due to various reasons will also be available on the website shortly.
