Applications are invited by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Govt. of Goa, Panaji for filling up 400 posts of Special Forest Guards from Wildlife Proximity Zone & Forest Talukas under the “Scheme for round the clock protection of Forest and Wildlife treasures under Wildlife and Forest talukas in the State of Goa -2012”.

Total Posts: 400

Salary : Rs.5200-20200+1800

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Lower age limit shall be 18 years as on the last date of application for the post.
  • The Upper age limit should not exceed 42 years, relaxable in case of candidates from reserved categories and others as per the Government Rules/Orders issued from time to time

Education Qualification:

  • Should have passed High School Certificate Examination (10th ) or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution
  • Knowledge of Konkani language
  • Knowledge of Marathi language

Physical Requirement:

Male Candidates

  • Height 163 cms
  • Chest (Girth) : 79 cms
  • Expansion (Full) : 5 cms

Female Candidates

  • Height 150 cms
  • Chest (Girth) : 74 cms
  • Expansion (Full) : 5 cms

Walking Test

  • Male Candidates :25 kms to be completed in 4 hours
  • Female Candidates :16kms to be completed in 4 hours

How To Apply:

Applications along with copies of certificates mentioned below should be enclosed:-

  • Birth Certificate
  • Residence Certificate
  • High School passing Certificate (10th ) or equivalent
  • Valid Employment Registration Card
  • Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
  • Sports Certificate representing State at National Level for Selecting the candidate in the Sports Category

All the documents should be attested by Gazetted Officer or Notary.

The blank application forms will be available at the following offices for Rs. 10/- per form from 08-03-2013 till the last date of submission of application.
