1.Staff Selection Commission conducted Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 from 11.02.2019 to 11.03.2019 in the Computer Based Mode. A total number of 30,41,284 candidates appeared in the said examination.
2. As per the Notice of examination, candidates have been shortlisted for PET/ PST in an approximate ratio of 1:10 (vacancy: candidates). Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates securing less than 33% marks and Unreserved (UR) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates securing less than 35% marks have not been considered eligible for short-listing to the PET/ PST.
3. Representations received from the candidates regarding Tentative Answer Keys were carefully examined and Answer Keys were suitably modified, wherever required, and finalized thereafter. The final Answer Keys has been used for evaluation of performance of candidates in the Examination.
4. In consonance with the Corrigendum issued by the Commission on its website dated 08-02-2019, short-listing of candidates for PET/ PST has been done on the basis of normalized marks scored by the candidates in the Computer Based Examination by using the formula published by the Commission through Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019. Final merit as well as selection of the candidates will also be made on the basis of normalized marks.
5. Category-wise (1-SC, 2-ST, 3-ESM, 6-OBC and 9-UR) break-up of the candidates provisionally shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Computer Based Examination for appearing in the PET/ PST along with the Marks and Date of Birth of the last shortlisted candidates are as follows:

6.1. Female:

6.2 Male:
i. Cut-off details of male candidates qualified against State/ UT-wise vacancies for General District Area are as given in Annexure-IV.
ii. Cut-off details of male candidates qualified against vacancies reserved for Border District Area are as given in Annexure-V.
iii. Cut-off details of male candidates qualified against vacancies reserved for Naxal/ Militancy affected District Area are given in Annexure-VI.
6. As per the option exercised by the candidates in the Online Application Form, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC category, on migration from one State/ UT to another State/ UT have been considered in their respective reserved category if they have chosen to take benefit of reservation from the State/ UT of origin. Other-wise they have been considered as UR candidate from the State/ UT of their domicile as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination (Para-17.5).
