SSC to extend online system

The Staff Selection Commission is going to extend online system of application for all categories of recruitment examinations to ensure transparency, according to its Chairman A. Bhattacharyya.

Delivering the inaugural address at the annual conference of SSC Regional Directors held at Coimbatore on Monday, he said that in the last fiscal, while around 1.63 crore applications were received, a total of 85,000 appointments were made by SSC. The performance of SSC in the last year was reviewed at the two-day conference. The nine Regional Directors of SSC were taking part.
