‘Cop arrested for SSC paper leak topped SI exam two months ago’

Investigations into the Combined Graduate Level examination paper leak have revealed that the Delhi Police head constable, who was arrested in the case, had topped the sub-inspectors' (SI) examination held two months ago. The Crime Branch is now probing whether there was a paper leak in the SI examination, which was topped by head constable Ajit Khatri.

Khatri is posted as personal staff of DCP (South). He was earlier posted in the Outer District.

Special Commissioner of Police(Crime) Dharmendra Kumar confirmed that police are looking into the leak in the Delhi Police Sub-Inspectors' exam as part of the investigation. "We are looking into that as part of the investigation," he said.

In the case of paper leak of the Combined Graduate Level examination held on Sunday, Khatri was arrested along with a sales tax inspector, three teachers, an MEA clerk and another Delhi Police constable.

Acting on a tip-off, the Crime Branch raided a house in Pooth Kalan, Outer Delhi, on Sunday morning and arrested the nine accused when they were solving question papers of the exam that is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
