Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow for a DBT funded project on 'Molecular Evaluation of interactions between sperm membrane RAFs and zona pellucida proteins' in the laboratory of Dr. G Pradeep Kumar at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

Essential Qualifications : Candidates must have secured first class in all their qualifying examinations. Masters Degree in Biological Sciences is mandatory. Preference will be given to those who have qualified CSIR/UGC-JRF or Lectureship, GATE, DBt-JRF or ICMR-JRF.

Age Limit : Below 28 years as on 15th July, 2013.

Salary : Rs 16,000/- + 15% HRA for CSIR/UGC – JRF (or equivalent) candidates; Rs 12,000/- + 15% HRA for others

Selection Method:

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview.
