Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Matriculate or equivalent for Constable (GD)
  • Class VIII passed for Constable (Band) & (MT)

Age:

  • Constable (GD) – 18 to 22 years, as on 15/09/2011. Relaxable upto 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC candidates, as well as upto 35 years for Govt. Servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt.

  • Constable (Band) and Constable (MT) - 18 to 25 years, as on 15/09/2011. Relaxable upto 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC candidates, as well as upto 35 years for Govt. Servants in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt.
