Online Application are invited from eligible candidates by Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has decided to invite online applications to fill up the following posts

Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil/Public Health/Electrical)

• Number of Posts: 22
• Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + G.P.5400.
• Age: Between 18 years and 35 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. Relaxation as per instructions.
• Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil/Public Health/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or  equivalent. Degree obtained through distance education mode not acceptable.
  To pass the prescribed departmental professional exam after joining/ promotion in service.

Junior Engineer (Civil/Public Health/Electrical)

• Number of Posts: 09
• Pay Scale: 10300-34800 + G.P. 4800.
• Age: Between 18 years and 25 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. Relaxation as per instructions.
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil/Public Health/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute or  equivalent. Degree obtained through distance education mode not acceptable.
  To pass the prescribed departmental professional exam after joining/ promotion in service.

Draftsman

• Number of Posts: 09
• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 + G.P. 4200.
• Age: Between 18 years and 25 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. Relaxation as per instructions.
• Educational Qualification: Matric pass of a recognized Board/University or equivalent.
  ITI Draftsmanship diploma of at least two years duration in the relevant trade.
  5 years experience in the trade as regular service. Knowledge of operating computer is must.

Junior Draftsman

• Number of Posts: 13
• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 + G.P. 3200.
• Age: Between 18 years and 25 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. Relaxation as per instructions.
• Educational Qualification: Matric pass of a recognized Board/University or equivalent.
  ITI Draftsmanship diploma of at least two years duration in the relevant trade.
  2 years experience in the trade as regular service. Knowledge of operating computer is must.

Sanitary Inspector

• Number of Posts: 04
• Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800 + G.P. 3800
• Age: Between 18 years and 30 years as on 01.01.2012 for General category. Relaxation as per instructions.
• Educational Qualification: Graduate or its equivalent.
  Sanitary Inspector Course/ diploma from any recognized institute

Application Fee

• Rs. 250/- in case of SC category
• Rs. 500/- in case of other category
• Physically handicapped persons are exempted from application fee.

How to Apply

• Candidate has to apply through online only.
• Fill up the form available on the site http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in On successful submission of form candidates are required to take the print out which will have registration no printed on it and print out of the form is to be retained by the candidate for any further process.
• Every successful registration will be allotted the Registration no. printed on the acknowledgement slip containing the detail of amount to be deposited by the candidate in the CDAC Mohali Application Fee Account, Current Account No. 911020028486199 AXIS BANK mentioning registration number and name in the bank narration.
• Thereafter the candidate shall have to report to the designated banker (AXIS Bank) along-with the downloaded Acknowledgement Slip cum Fee Chalan for depositing the fee.
• In case the candidate fails to deposit the fee, his /her application shall stand automatically cancelled /rejected and shall not be considered for further processing.
• Only On-line registered application forms will be entertained i.e. applications sent by post / in person will not be entertained.
• Applications will be accepted online (only) from 07.01.2013 to 20.02.2013 on the website http://recruitment.cdacmohali.in. No application shall be entertained by hand or by post in the Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.
• Any correction in the particulars can be made by the candidate himself/herself on the website up to 20.02.2013 upto 5:00 P.M. For this purpose, the candidate has to log in by entering his/ her registration number and password. No correction can be made by the candidate after the closing date.
