Recruitment of Sub-Inspector, Head Constable & Constable - 2013

Applications are invited from male Indian citizens, for filling up of vacancies in above posts on temporary basis likely to be permanent, in the Indo Tibetan Border Police Force. The post has all India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by ITBPF Act and Rules. The last date of receipt of applications is 28.06.2013 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul-Spiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of HP, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 05.07.2013.

Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication):

• Number of Posts: 10 posts

• Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 20-25 years

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelors Degree/ B.E/ BCA in relevant field from an Institution recognized by the State Government or equivalent

Head Constable (Telecommunication):

• Number of Posts: 369 posts

• Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-25 years

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Matriculation or equivalent plus two years I.T.I. Certificate in Electronics

Constable (Telecommunication):

• Number of Posts: 65 posts

• Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18-23 years

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Matriculation or equivalent with Science from a recognized Board/Institute or equivalent.

Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to General and OBC Category will be required to pay Rs.50/- as application fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected based on Height Bar, Race, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Tests (PST), Written Exam, Medical Examination, Merit list, Cheching of documents and Iterview (Only for SI post).
