BSNL Recruitment 2013 - 156 Telecom Technical Assistant Posts

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) proposes to recruit 156 Telecom Technical Assistants for Haryana Telecom Circle for its various 09 Secondary Switching Areas (SSAs). Interested candidates can apply through the prescribed application format on or before 13-05-2013. Age Limit :

Candidates age should be between 18 years and 27 years as on 13-05-2013. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Pay Scale :

Telecom Technical Assistant shall be appointed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.13600-25420 with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay + other allowances admissible as per Company rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must possess 3 years Diploma in Engineering in any of the discipline in Telecom/ Electrical/ Electronics and Communications/ IT/ Computer/ Radio/ Instrument/ M.Sc (Electronics) from a recognized University/ Institution.

Application Fee:

Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order for Rs. 500/- in favor of “The Accounts Officer (Cash), O/o Sr. GMTD/GMTD (name of SSA) of the SSA concerned as the case may be. Payable at their Head Quarters and must be purchased / issued after the date of advertisement. Fee exempted for SC/PH candidates.

Selection Process:

By means of competitive examination to be held in accordance with syllabus and Programme as under. Exam will be held at SSA level and Merit list will be drawn by respective SSA. There shall be only One Paper of multiple choice objective type(OMR based) of three hours duration with the following details:-

Medical Fitness: The selected candidates will be required to undergo a medical Test to ensure that they are physically fit and mentally alert to perform the duties expected of a TTA before sending them on TTA’s training.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format, fill that form completely, affix passport size photograph on it, along with self attested copies of all the certificates/ testimonials and other documents, recent photograph and Demand Draft towards Application Fee must be sent in a sealed cover super scribed with “Application for Direct Recruitment to the cadre of Telecom Technical Assistants” along with two self addressed envelope to AGM (Admn/HR) O/o Sr.GMTD /GMTD (name of SSA) of the SSA concerned for which the candidate wishes to apply should reach the office on or before 13-05-2013.
