Walk-in Interview For Engaging Project Assistants On April 5th 2013 (Friday)

The Human Resource Development (HRD) Group of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has a mandate to develop and nurture S&T manpower at national level. The activities of the HRD Group include: Award of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prizes (SSB); CSIR Young Scientist Awards (YSA); Research Fellowships / Associate ships; Travel / Symposium Grants and Extramural Research Schemes.

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-Interview for engagement of Project Assistants initially for one year and purely on temporary basis for the ongoing activities of National Science & Technology Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) New Delhi. The Project Assistants are expected to assist scientists in analysing / preparing scientific & technical reports and in the processing of applications for its various activities.

Project Assistant Level-I

• Stipend: Rs. 8000/- pm fixed

• Educational Qualifications

• B.Sc in Basic Sciences or Diploma in Engineering in Computer Sciences / Computer Engg./ IT or BCA

• Age: 25 years (as on date of Interview)

Project Assistant Level-II

• Stipend: Rs 12000/- pm fixed

• Educational Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Basic Sciences or M.Sc./ BE / BTech in Computer Sciences / Computer Engg./ IT or MCA.

• Age: 28 years (as on date of Interview)

Project Assistant Level-III

• Stipend: Rs 14000/- pm fixed

• Educational Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Basic sciences or M.Sc./ BE / BTech in Computer Sciences / Computer Engg./ IT or MCA with two years experience

• Age: 32 years (as on date of Interview)

Important Instruction

• The minimum requirement of percentage of marks for Project Assistant Level I shall be 50% & for Project Assistant Level II and Project Assistant Level III shall be 55% in the qualifying examination. In case of SC/ST Candidates, minimum percentage of marks shall be relaxed by 5% in the qualifying examination.

• Age relaxation: Relaxation of age for SC/ST/PH/OBC and women will be applicable as per GOI instructions.

• The above positions are purely temporarily, there will be no right, implicit or explicit, for regular employment or any post in CSIR, whatsoever. The decision of CSIR HRDG about fulfillment of qualification, etc, shall be final and binding. Canvassing in any form would be a disqualification. No TA will be paid for attending the interview.

Eligible candidates may appear for “Walk-in-Interview” on the date and place mentioned above between 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM (candidate will not be entertained after 11.00 AM under any circumstances) with complete application on prescribed format which is available on CSIR HRDG website http://csirhrdg.res.in along with latest passport size photograph, original and attested copies of all the certificates/testimonials. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH must bring copies of certificates in the proper format issued by the appropriate authority, as per the latest GOI instructions issued from time to time on the subject.
