Recruitment of Assistant Grade (III) Posts in Food Corporation of Indian (FCI)

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam for the recruitment of assistant grade (III) posts in Food Corporation of Indian (FCI) in general, accounts, depot and technical cadres was cancelled on Sunday after the question paper of second shift was reportedly leaked, as it was distributed in the first shift itself at several examination centres in the state.

According to government officials, the examination was scheduled to be held in two shifts. The paper of first shift was scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm while that of second shift was scheduled from 2 pm to 4 pm. On Sunday, when the paper of the first shift was about to begin, the invigilators came to know that wrong sets of papers, which are of second shift, have been put in the packets and was distributed at several centres.

Meanwhile, in Jaipur, a total of 13 examination centres were set up in which about 4,500 students were to appear.

“The SSC officials are themselves responsible for the mistake, as the paper packets were packed and sealed by them. We are just coordinating. When the examiners opened the bundles, they came know that the examination paper of second shift has been mistakenly put in the wrong packets. The examination has now been cancelled in state and will be held again,” said Ramesh Chand Gupta, coordinator of the exam (Jaipur)
