(Female Merit List) SSC Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Exam, 2015
1. An Open Competitive Written Examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles for the year 2015 was held on 04-10-2015 and Re-examination held on 22-11-2015 for the certain candidates who qualified in PET/PST at different centres across the country. In the above Examination total 11,65,942 number of candidates (both male & female) had actually appeared. The result of the Written Examination was declared by the Commission on 14-03-2016 and 07-04-2016 declaring total 1,44,802 candidates (Male 1,29,617 and Female 15,185) qualified for undergoing the Detailed Medical Examination.
2. On the basis of the Written Examination and the Detailed Medical Examination, the Commission now declares the two merit lists of the finally selected 51,678 male and 5,336 female candidates for appointment to the post of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. The merit lists have been prepared as per All India vacancies/ State wise vacancies (with further reservation for candidates of Border Districts/Naxal or Militancy affected districts within the State). For preparing the merit list, category, gender, Medical result and State/Border and Naxal/Militancy codes of the candidates have been taken from the data sent by the CRPF. Force allocation (State-wise, category-wise) in this regard will be done by the CRPF.
3. The Tie cases have been resolved adopting the criteria mentioned below.
(a) The tie is resolved by the Commission by referring to the total marks in
the written examination i.e. a candidate having more marks in the written
examination gets preference over the candidate(s) with less marks.
(b) If the tie still persists then the marks in Part A are referred to i.e. a
candidate having more marks in Part A is given preference.
(c) If the tie still persists, the candidate older in age gets preference.
(d) If the tie still persists, it is finally resolved by referring to the
alphabetical order of names i.e. a candidate whose name begins with the alphabet
which comes first in the alphabetical order gets preference.
4. The Merit Lists are purely provisional and subject to the candidate’s fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of the Examination and also subject to, among other things thorough verification by the CRPF of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc. on the Application Forms, Admission Certificates etc
5. This result of the following candidates will be subject to the outcome of their respective Court cases given below:-
(i) OA No. 063/0099/2016 titled Ranjana Devi Vs. UOI pending before the
Hon’blea CAT, Chandigarh Bench.
(ii) The Hon’ble High Court of Orissa in WP(C) No. 19377 of 2016 in Misc Case
No.17886 of 2016 Miss Roji Barik Vs UoI &Ors, has ordered one post of
Constable(GD) shall not be filled up till the next date.
(iii) The Hon’ble CAT, Bangalore Bench, in OA No. 883 of 2016 Basavaraj Vs UoI,
has ordered “In the interregnum one post to be kept vacant.”
6. Result with Force allocation will be declared by CRPF on their website separately.
