Declaration of Written Result to call the candidates For Typewriting Test/ Data Entry Skill Test
Candidates awarded ‘ZERO’ Marks.

• Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination, 2012 on 21st & 28th October, 2012 and 4th November, 2012 and re-examination held on 13-1-2013 for recruitment to the post of Data Entry Operators and Lower Division Clerks at various centres all over country. A total of 20,01,890 candidates appeared in the said examination. The provisional result of written part of the examination was declared on 23-1-2013.
• Out of 20,01,890 candidates, 1,35,071 candidates have been put into rejection/awarded zero marks due to wrong coding/without signatures/without left thumb impression (LTI) of their details on the front page of OMR sheet and possession of mobile phone in the examination hall. It is pertinent to mention here that the following instructions were given to the candidates on the OMR sheet:
• “Answer sheet not bearing candidate's Name, Roll No., Signature, Test Form No., Ticket No. will not be evaluated”.
  “ANSWER SHEET WITH INCORRECT CODING OF ANY OF THE PARTICULARS WOULD BE AWARDED ZERO MARKS”.
• Nature of mistake(s)/discrepancies committed by the candidates have been indicated in code against the column Discrepancy which are as under:-

List of candidates who have been awarded zero mark is available on http://ssc.nic.in. List of 278 candidates who have been awarded „zero‟ mark due to possession of mobile phones in examination halls is also placed on website.
