Breaking: SSC CGL 2013 Final Result Announced

1. The result of the Combined Graduate Level Re-examination, 2013 (Tier-II) was declared on 31.10.2014. After excluding the common candidates, 26843 candidates qualified in Tier-II for Interview/Non-Interview posts.

2. The Commission decided to use Module I of DEST for qualifying candidates for evaluation of Module II + III of CPT.

Module I of CPT for candidates opting for Assistant in CSS (Option A) was same as DEST. The formulae used to calculate error in Module I is -

Where Moderated Mistakes = Full Mistakes + 0.5*Half Mistakes +Left out words- Excess words in passage calculated at 5 key depressions per word

(1) Cut-off in Module I of CPT for evaluation of CPT (Module II +III)

Category-wise cut-off applied in CPT (Module-I) is given below :-

Candidates who had given wrong particulars were awarded ‘Zero Marks’ in Module II and Module III.

(2) Cut-off in Module II +III of CPT

(3) Cut-off in DEST for post of Tax Assistant : Commission has decided to apply cut-off of 5% for UR and 7% for all reserved categories on percentage of mistakes in DEST for post of Tax Assistant in CBDT and CBEC.

There is exemption from DEST for OH candidates in CBDT. There is no exemption from DEST for OH candidates in CBEC. As per data sent by Regional Offices, 15 OH candidates have been exempted in DEST.

3. Result has been prepared as under. There are three different merit criteria:–

(i) Interview posts (other than Statistical Investigator) – Tier I + Tier II (Paper I + Paper II) + Interview marks
(ii) Statistical Investigator post - Tier I + Tier II (Paper I + Paper II + Paper III) + Interview marks
(iii) Non-interview posts - Tier I + Tier II (Paper I + Paper II)

While allocating posts to eligible candidates, merit-cum-preference criteria have been adopted.

The allocation has been made sequentially for the following lists –

i. List I : Interview posts (other than Statistical Investigator) – Option A to Q, S
ii. List II : Interview post (Statistical Investigator Grade II) – Option R
iii. List III : Non-interview posts Select List – Option T to #

While making allocation for List I, all candidates who had opted for posts in List II/III as first option were considered first for List II/III. While making allocation for List II, all candidates allocated in list I were not considered and all candidates who had given higher preference to any non-interview posts under List III than option in List II were ignored. While making allocation for List III, candidates already selected in List I and II were not considered.

4. Category-wise break-up of the candidates for different posts selected against the vacancies reported by the User departments and lowest marks secured by candidates selected against each post is as below :-
