Applications are invited from the candidates who are Domicile of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) NE – 4 at various airports in the above states in North – Eastern Region.

Vacancies Details:

Post Name: Junior Assistant (Fire Service)
No. of Posts: 53 (SC – Nil, ST – 07, OBC – 07, UR – 39)
Pay Scale: Rs. 12500 – 28500/- and other allowances as per rules (Revised)
Educational Qualification: A pass in 10 + 2 or equivalent qualification from recognized University /Board as on 13/08/2010. Should possess valid heavy driving license as on 13 – 08 – 2010.
Desirable: ITI/Sub-Officer Course/Experience in any Fire Service/BTC Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment

Physical Fitness: Physical
Eye sight: Distance vision – 6/6 at both eyes without glasses.
Near vision : N5 in both eyes without glasses.
Colour: vision – should be normal as determined by Ischihara’s Charts.
Height: Not less than 167 cm.
Chest: 81 cm normal. Minimum expansion 5 cms.

Note: Applications were invited vide our Advertisement dated:15/08/2010 subsequent extension advertisement dated :28/08/2010 for recruitment to the post of Jr. Asstt. (FS). The written exam held on 06/02/2011 at Lilabari stands cancelled due to administrative reasons.

The candidates who have applied with reference to our earlier Advertisement dated:15/08/2010 subsequent extension advertisement dated :28/08/2010 and were eligible (whether appeared or not in the Written Exam held on 06/02/2011 at Lilabari) would be allowed exemption in fees as well as age relaxation, and will be considered for Written Test without any fresh application.

Candidates fulfilling the above conditions may submit their application in Hindi/English to THE REGIONAL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA, NORTH –EASTERN REGION, LGBI AIRPORT, GUWAHATI, ASSAM (the envelope should be superscripted by the name of the post applied for) alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) (non – refundable) drawn in favour of Airports Authority of India, payable at Guwahati so as to reach on or before 15-07-2011.
