Result of Paper-I of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2023 was declared on 17.11.2023. Thereafter, Paper-II (Computer Based Examination) of the Examination was conducted on 04.12.2023.

2. As per Para 16 of the Notice of the Examination, Document Verification (DV) will be conducted by the User Organizations/Offices after the declaration of the final result. Accordingly, as per the Notice No. HQ-PPII03(2)/1/2023-PP_II (E-4640) dated 19.12.2023 of the Commission, Option-cum-preference has been taken online from the candidates, who had appeared in the Paper-II Examination, during the period from 20.12.2023 to 25.12.2023.

3. As per the provision of the Notice of the Examination, marks scored by the candidates in both Paper-I and Paper-II have been used for determining the final merit and cut-off marks. The marks of Paper-I were normalized by using the formula published by the Commission vide Notice No: 1-1/2018-P&P-I dated 07-02-2019 and such normalized scores have been taken into account to determine final merit and cut-off marks. Keeping in view that the candidates of both Electrical and Mechanical branches compete for some common posts, the marks of the two branches in Paper-II have been normalized and such normalized scores have been taken into account for determining the final merit and cut-off marks.

4. As per Para 18.1, minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II Examination are as follows:-
(a) 30% (Paper-I- 60, Paper-II- 90) for UR.
