1.The Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Written Examination of the above recruitment on 01-12-2016 and that of Skill Test on 10.11.2017. In the result, 205 candidates were declared qualified for Document Verification for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 1,713 candidates were declared qualified for Document Verification for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’. Finally, 173 candidates have qualified for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 1043 candidates for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

2. Allocation lists have been prepared keeping in view the number of vacancies reported by the User Departments. While allocating posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ to the candidates, merit-cum-preference criteria has been adopted. Order of preference for the posts exercised by candidates while applying for the examination and their options for Services/Departments/Cadres exercised during Document Verification have been considered.

3 The following criteria have been adopted for allocation of candidates:-

(i) Only those candidates who appeared in Online Document Verification and were meeting the following cut-offs in Skill Tests were considered for allocation:- (a) Stenographer Grade ‘C’: upto 5% mistakes for UR and up to 7% mistakes for all reserved category candidates. (b) Stenographer Grade ‘D’: upto 7% mistakes for UR and up to 10% mistakes for all reserved category candidates.

(ii) Allocation of candidates to Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ has been done on the basis of merit-cum-preference.

(iii) Candidates have been considered for only one post, as per their merit-cum-preference.

(iv) Candidates have been considered for Services/Departments/Cadres based on the preference given by them during Document Verification. -2 -

(v) Category certificates of candidates marked ‘P’ have been accepted provisionally by the Commission.

4. Category wise break-up of the candidates selected for the posts of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ along with the Total Marks obtained by the last selected candidates are given below. In cases where candidates are selected against horizontal vacancies (Ex-S, OH, VH), Total Marks of such last selected candidate are reflected against their respective horizontal category, not against their vertical category:-
