(Written Result) SSC Stenographers Grade 'C' Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2016

1. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the written examination on 03.07.2016 for making additions to the select list for Gr. ‘C’ Stenographers of following services/cadres :-

(i) Central Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
(ii) Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade-II;
(iii) Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
(iv) Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
(v) Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;
(vi) Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’;

2. A total number of 172 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 02 candidates did not fill up their personal details as per instructions on OMR Answer Sheets and therefore their OMR sheet were not evaluated.

3. Based on the cut off marks fixed by the Commission in Written Examination, following are the details of candidates qualifying for Skill Test in Stenography on Computer :-

4. The candidates whose Roll Nos. figure in the list would be called for Skill Test subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility conditions requirements as prescribed for the post in the Notice of the Examination and also subject to through verification of their identity with reference to their photograph, signature, handwriting etc. on the application forms, admission certificate etc. If on verification from the application form, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, he/she will not be called for the Skill Test.

5. The category status in respect of candidates belonging to reserved categories has been indicated along with their roll numbers. It is important for such candidates for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per the policy of the Govt., to note that some of them may have been declared qualified for the Skill Test in the category mentioned against their roll numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her roll number, he/she may not be eligible to be called for the Skill Test. If any candidate finds a mismatch between his/her name and roll number, he/she must bring it to the notice of the Northern Region of the Commission immediately. It is also in the interest of the candidates concerned to contact the Northern Regional Office, New Delhi, in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their roll numbers.

6. The schedule of Skill Test will be made available on the Commission’s Northern Regional(NR)’s website soon. Qualified eligible candidates who do not receive the Admission Certificate for Skill Test within 07 days before the Skill Test should immediately thereafter contact the Northern Regional Office of the Commission.

7. Marks of the candidates will be placed on the Commission's website shortly.
