Revised Result of Male & Female Candidates Including RME ‘FIT’ (Select List & Reserve List)

The Staff Selection Commission conducted recruitment of Constable (GD) in B.S.F., CISF, CRPF and SSB during the period March-August, 2011 involving three
stages, namely PST/PET, Written Examination and Detailed Medical Examination.

2. The Commission declared the result of 44,152 male candidates including 6460 in the Reserve List who have been recommended for appointment to the post of Constable (G.D.) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and S.S.B. on 28-11-2011 and 872 female candidates on 18-11-2011. Revised result of 1881 candidates was declared on 06-7-2012 and 194 candidates on 16-3-2012.

3. Result of 6657 RME ‘FIT’ candidates (6572 male and 85 female candidates) were declared on 31-7-2012 under Reserve List -2.

4. In pursuance of Delhi High Court order in WP(C) No. 6961/2012 on 5-11-2012, WP(C) No. 6911/2012 on 7-11-2012 and WP(C) No. 7651/2012 on 14-12-2012, the Commission has revised the result of the candidates who were initially declared ‘Unfit’ in medical examination but were later on declared ‘Fit’ at the Review Medical Examination and a single Select List and Reserve List has been prepared.

5. Total number of candidates qualifying in Revised Select List and Reserve List based on results of Medical Examination/Review Medical Examination are as under:-

Male – Select List - 48132, Reserve List - 8574

Female- Select List – 930, Reserve List-115

6. Result of candidates already selected in Select List (SL) and Reserve List (RL) remains unchanged. Candidates found ‘FIT’ in RME have been included in SL/RL based on their merit position and preference opted by them. Candidates in RL will be en-bloc junior to candidates selected in Select List. After issue of revised Select List and Reserve List, the RL-2 will cease to exist. There will be only revised SL and RL.

7. In RL-2 candidates were selected with reference to marks obtained by last selected candidates in the RL. During preparation of revised SL and RL, the candidates who were ‘FIT’ in RME have been included in SL/RL based on their merit position and preference opted by them. Therefore, there is an increase in the number of candidates being allocated in revised SL/RL.

Candidates who had Blank/invalid options were considered for allocation in the RL after substituting their preference as ABCD i.e. the default preference order in the Notice.Candidates who had blank/invalid options were not considered for the Select List.
