Revised result for NER (North Eastern Region) candidates with correct border code

Final result for the above examination was declared on 01.10.2012 and 17.10.2012 for female & male candidates , respectively .The result of Reserved List -2 was declared on 19.11.2012.

Subsequently, it came to the notice of the Commission that domicile in Border District for 476 candidates of North Eastern Region has not been considered due to error in Border Code. Result of these candidates has been revised due to the correction in Border Distt. Code.

The detail of CAPF wise (A: BSF, B: CISF, C: CRPF, D:SSB, E:ITBP, F:Assam Rifles) , state wise, Vacancy type wise (G -General / B-Border Districts / N Naxal_Militancy affected districts), number of filled vacancies, Highest and Lowest marks secured by candidates selected against the corresponding vacancies.The rows pertaining to 0 remaining vacancies/ no selected candidate have not been included in the tables(Category : 1-SC, 2-ST, 3–ExS, 6-OBC, 9-UR)

Note 1 : For preparation of Final Result, Category, Gender and State/Border and Naxal/Militancy Codes of candidates have been taken from the Verified Data sent by North Eastern Regional Office

The List of recommended candidates is purely provisional and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notice of the said examination and also subject to, among other things thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc. on the application forms, admission certificates, etc.

For candidates belonging to reserved categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per policy of the Government, the category status is indicated against their roll numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified only in the category mentioned against their roll numbers. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against their name, they may not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of candidates concerned to contact immediately the Regional Office of the Commissionat Guwahati in all such cases where they do not belong to the categories against their Roll numbers.

The Lists are provisional subject to verification of their eligibility and verification of State of Domicile in Border Districts/Naxal and militancy affected districts of candidates in Select List, who have been allotted concerned vacancies.

The revised results for 234 selected candidates with correct border code are available on the Commission’s Website: http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of a ll the 476 candidates with correct Border Code are also placed on Commission’s website.
