Declaration of final result for the post of Sub-Inspectors (Executive) in Delhi Police, 2012

The Staff Selection Commission conducted SI (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination, 2012 on 19.8.2012. On the basis of their performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, 1448 candidates (1418 male + 30 female) were declared qualified for interview.

Out of the quota meant for Ex-serviceman, 50% of the vacancies are reserved for the ExS who have: (i) Served in the Special Force/NSG (Special Action Group) or (ii) Received a QI ‘Qualified Instructors’ grading in the commando course or (iii) officers from Navy/Air Force who have worked in the specialized commando units. Since there was no provision in the application form for furnishing this information, Regional Offices were asked to call those Ex-serviceman category additionally who had qualified in PET but were not qualified for Interview/MET and belonged to the above categories. Accordingly, a list of 244 ExS candidates who had qualified in PET but did not qualify for Interview/MET was also placed on website.

Cut-off in Interview of 25% for UR category and 20% marks for other categories has been fixed by the Commission in view of importance of personality in candidate considered for the post. Interview (Personality Test) is of 100 marks and accordingly cut-off of  25.00 for UR and 20.00 for other categories was applied.

As communicated by Delhi Police, the departmental candidates availing age relaxation and relaxation in PET&MT may not be considered against the open vacancies. They may be considered only against vacancies reserved for departmental candidates.

Commission has decided that the result may be finalised without considering the medical examination result of the candidates as medical examination conducted by a few regional offices did not fully comply with guidelines of Delhi Police. Therefore, it was decided in consultation with MHA and Delhi Police, the candidates selected for appointment on basis of marks in Written/Interview will be required to undergo medical examination in due course which will be conducted by Delhi Police. This is also in compliance of scheme of recruitment of Delhi Police.

The result of following 8 candidates has been kept withheld by the Commission and their result shall be declared in due course:
2201001782, 2201004327, 2201006431, 2201007445, 2201015024, 2201016694, 2201045824 and 2201050727

The list is purely provisional subject to outcome of post examination analysis undertaken by the Commission for detection of cases who were indulged prima-facie in fraud, copying or malpractice and further subject to their qualifying in medical examination as per guidelines/scheme of Delhi Police. Delhi Police will offer appointment only to such candidates who are finally cleared by the Commission after post-examination work and also qualify in medical examination.

For candidates belonging to Reserved Categories for whom certain percentage of vacancies are reserved as per Govt. policy, the category status is indicated against their Roll Nos. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified only for the category mentioned against their Roll Nos. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/she may not be eligible to be included in the list. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to immediately contact the respective Regional Offices of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll Nos.

The final result of the candidates is available on the SSC website: http://ssc.nic.in Marks of the candidates called for interview are also placed. If any candidate is desirous of representing about the result, he/she may represent to the undersigned on or before 10.3.2013. The representations not accompanied by the relevant documents supporting the claim will not be examined. Representations received thereafter will not be entertained.
